Prevention costs less than investigation
Our investigative work has shown us that many incidents grow out of organisational weaknesses that had been known for some time, such as access to sites that nobody really checks, confidential information circulating without rules, suppliers chosen without verification and procedures that exist on paper but not in practice. The corporate security division uses this experience to help companies find and close those gaps before they turn into damage.
What we do
- Security risk assessment. Analysis of sites, warehouses and offices, of physical and organisational vulnerabilities and of the gap between written procedures and what actually happens, with practical recommendations in proportion to the risk.
- Due diligence. Integrity and reputational checks on Italian companies, partners, distributors, agents and managers before acquisitions, joint ventures and important contracts.
- Industrial espionage and insider threat. Reconstruction of how confidential information left the company and who was involved, combining field checks, research on people and companies and forensic analysis of company devices.
- Counter-surveillance. Checks to establish whether an executive, a key witness or a person under pressure is being followed or watched in their movements, and by whom, particularly during negotiations, disputes or sensitive transactions.
- Compliance and Model 231. Support for supervisory bodies under Legislative Decree 231/2001 and for whistleblowing managers, with internal investigations on reports and checks on sensitive processes.
- Security training. Courses for security managers, reception and logistics staff, HR and purchasing departments on procedures, risk assessment and each function's role in prevention.
An approach that combines people, sites and information
A well-protected site loses value if staff do not know the procedures, and a secure IT system is of little use if a document leaves the building in someone's bag. For this reason we look at physical security, organisation and information together, and we work alongside the people already responsible for them, the security manager, the health and safety officer, the supervisory body and the DPO, bringing an external view that helps them see where practice and procedure diverge.
Who we work for
We work with industrial and commercial companies, groups with several sites in Italy, companies that handle sensitive data or projects and foreign groups that need a reliable view of the risks affecting their Italian subsidiaries.
